The Day I Became Reverend......

In May I finished everything for the process of credentialing with the Assemblies of God and have just been waiting on the paperwork to officially go through. Today I received all of my officialness in the mail!!! I am now officially Reverend Miranda
Taylor, complete with my certificate and credential card. Yay!!!!!

It's hard to celebrate in all of the chaos of this week. It's been a busy office day today and I have back to back meetings tonight until about 9:30. But I did manage a celebrator trip to happy hour at Sonic with one of our student leaders. Otherwise it's been a normal day.

I can't help but feel it is a pretty special day though. I know it is just the official side of things and everything has actually been done for a while, but still I feel like it's kind of a big deal. For nearly seven years now I knew this day would eventually happen. I've known since then that I would eventually have to get my credentials to work long-term with Chi Alpha. So though the process was only about a year, the dream or thought has been there much longer. Thus there have been random emotional/teary-eyed moments today. Some days I am just too blue (color personality test) for stuff. But oh well, it's my day of reverendness and I'll cry if I want to!!

Until then......
