I've realized in life that there are generally four things that I do when I'm stressed.
-clean
-workout
-soak in the bath
-eat
This week I am feeling the stress of the semester. There is so much going on. The last time I had a full weekend free was in January and my next one isn't coming until the end of March. So looking at the next few weeks and months even has had me a bit stressed this week.
Due to the stress I've been working out a good bit and last night I wound up cleaning my entire kitchen at 10:00 at night. I got out of the shower and went into the kitchen to fill my hot water bottle and instead wound up washing dishes, cleaning counter tops, organizing groceries, disinfecting our drain rack, and mopping our disgusting floor. Usually cleaning the kitchen isn't such a big job, but when there are 15 people living in the same house it gets pretty nasty.
Hey at least my kitchen is clean now! I could have worse stress relieving habits! Until then......
