The Squirrel taught me about God this morning.....

As I mentioned in my last post, I feel like God is asking me to get up and take a walk or run with Him in the mornings. I didn't make it in the morning Tuesday and Wednesday, but I did enjoy great evening time with Him on those days. This morning though I finally convinced my self to leave my warm bed and hit the pavement with God. It was well worth it!

As I was walking and praising God this morning, I passed a little squirrel that was out eating his breakfast. It reminded me of God's provision. God always has and always will be faithful. Just as this small squirrel woke up and God fed him this morning, our Father is always sure to take care of us. Such an awesome thought. The squirrels don't have to worry about anything, God provides. They don't even know how to worry, God has always provided and they don't know anything different. (I'm pretty sure Jesus talked all about this in Matthew 6:25-34)

Oh if we could have faith in God's provision like the squirrels do. God has always taken care of us, but in our finite world and crazy thinking minds we have moments of doubt and worry. Ohh to be like a squirrel!!

Until then......
