I just spent the last few hours online doing my Christmas shopping. I think part of the fun of shopping is going out and about in the holiday spirit, but this year I decided to give the online thing a whirl. So 5 of the 6 family members are now crossed off my list. I may still pick up a small thing or two here and there, but overall I'm done with all but my mom (and I even started hers). I feel accomplished!! Especially since this is all before Thanksgiving and I'm still sitting in a hoodie, sweat pants, and a hat in my living room!
Christmas shopping though does remind me how great or little I may know about someone. When trying to find a thoughtful, useful, and appropriate gift, it can be hard. I feel like it really tests how much you know someone. Boo on that!!!!! This year I tried to get a little out of the rut of what I would normally get my family. Hopefully they all like it! Hopefully!!! (only 33 more days until I find out..... it's 33 days til Christmas!)
