Today was day three of my trip and is still proving to be a fabulous trip. Again I slept in this morning (mainly due to the fact that I couldn't fall asleep until after four this morning) and then Elaine (another of Katie's bride's maids that arrived last night) and I got up and headed out for lunch. When we stepped out the door we found that the weather was again gorgeous and only about 75 degrees outside. I know perfect right!! So we wandered and found this cute little pub and grub to eat lunch. We sat out on the porch and ate roasted turkey and pesto sandwiches on ciabatta bread. It was fabulous!
After lunch we ran to Target to pick up things and on the way back to the house we stopped at Taylor's Bakery for a snack. I absolutely love bakeries and don't seem to find them much in the States. In South Africa I lived on the same block as my favorite bakery in the world. It's class! After the stop at the bakery we went back to the house for a short nap.
After nap time it was time to hit the Indianapolis Children's Museum which is the largest or second largest in the country. And it was fabulous. It's five floors or awesomeness. We got to dress up like dinosaurs, see a four story blown glass art piece, ride a carousel, and so much more. It was definitely worth the time to go. I must admit though that one of the biggest highlights of the museum was when Katie's two year old nephew picked up a piece of popcorn off the ground and ate it. I tried to stop him, but he was too fast for me.

From the museum we came back to Katie's and Cole (her fiance) cooked a fabulous dinner for us, Elaine, Katie's mom, and Katie's sister, brother-in-law, and nephew. It was a great Mediterranean chicken salad. Dinner was great fun with good conversation. Dessert was comprised of us girls going to get ice cream at Handel's Ice Cream place. I accidentally ordered the largest ice cream cone of my life and the rest of the customers pretty much applauded me as I walked off with my massive mound of delight.
The rest of the night was spent hanging out with the girls and watching bits of chick flick movies. It was a great day. I'm really enjoying my time here with awesome people. Tomorrow we have the wedding shower and bachlorette party. So it's another promising day and the weather is predicting a high of 70! Bring it!!!! Until then ......
