Jabulani

My favorite word in the Zulu language is "Jabulani". It means "rejoice." Today is a Jabulani kind of day!! Today is my 28th birthday! Wahoo!!!!!!

As I think back over the last 28 years I am overwhelmed with how amazing and blessed my life has been. I can't even put in to words the gratitude I feel towards God when thinking about my life. The things He has blessed me with. The things I have gotten to do and be a part of and accomplish. The memories, the friends, the family, everything!!

Many people get funny about getting older. They view it as a bad thing. I love it!! It means that I've lived more. I done more. I've had more life experiences. It's fabulous!!!

I spent some time simply thanking God this morning for the rich and abundant life that He has blessed me with. For the incredible 28 years that He has given me. I found it hard to even find the words to truly express how grateful I am.
