Do It Yourself

You may remember from last summer, that I did a complete overhaul on my bathroom. One of the biggest projects I took on in the bathroom was the cabinet. This is what I found when I moved in:


After the renovations this is what I have reveled in for the last year:


I have thoroughly enjoyed my "new" bathroom. But for the last year I have thought that the top of my cabinet needed "something else." I had been leaning towards tile, but never sure what I really wanted. This week I finally figured it out. After four trips to Hobby Lobby and learning quite a lot, this is what I have now:



I am extremely pleased with how it came out. I showed a friend of mine the picture during lunch today and his response was "I'm surprised. It looks professional." My thought was that this person must not know me very well! I love a good DIY project. So much fun to me!! Next up, a quilt!!
