Legit Runner

I think the main reason I like to still run during the winter is that I feel more legit. This week it has been around 40 degrees outside when I head out for my run. Now if you're in the north and reading this, that's not that bad. However when the only places you have lived are Louisiana and South Africa, 40 degrees is pretty darn cool. Therefore I layer up and look like a legit runner, complete with tights, shorts, long sleeve, vest, beanie, and gloves. It may be a bit much, but it makes it more fun. And at least I look like I'm training for a marathon or something. Sometimes you gotta look the part in order to play the part!!
