This Thursday my dear friend Missy is coming through town by herself and I am giddy about it! Missy is my BFF that has four kids. Whenever I go to Ruston we usually get to hang out and her wonderful hubby usually watches the kids while Missy and I have a Chili's date.
This Thursday she is passing through on the way to her parents for the weekend..... kid free at that! This means a Chili's date night for us!!! Missy is one of those rare friends that just gets me. It doesn't matter what comes out of my mouth, she understands and loves me unconditionally. And vice versa. She simply is amazing and I love having her in my life. I am truly blessed by our friendship. I am so excited and just wishing Thursday night would hurry up!
It's a week full of fabulous people for me! Yesterday my brother and his wife came through town and took me to lunch. Then Friday afternoon two of my friends from Lafayette are venturing north with me. We're going to a West Monroe High School football game on Friday night, then hanging out with my mom Saturday morning, Tech tailgating with old friends Saturday afternoon, stopping by dad's after tailgating, going to see my brother and his wife and dog Saturday evening, then dinner at the Boardwalk in Bossier with dad and brother and his wife and my friends, and Sunday will conclude with church and one of my old friends cooking lunch for us. It's an exciting week full of people I love dearly!!!! Yay!!!
