Today my best friend Missy stopped in Lafayette on her way home to visit her parents in South Louisiana. Since Missy was traveling alone with her FOUR kids, she stopped at McDonald's near my office and I went to help feed kids. I was running shot on time, so I helped feed the twins (6 month old twin boys) and then I had to run off to my next meeting. As I left the are where we were sitting I heard her two and a half year old son Zach yelling something at me. I finally turned around and went back to see what was wrong. He was standing in the booth yelling "I want a hug! I want a hug!" Talk about make my heart melt!! He is already the cutest thing ever and then yelling "I want a hug!!" and staring me down with those big brown eyes! I would have been late for my own wedding to go back and give that cute little man a hug!!
In other news, I got to spend a wonderful Labor Day weekend with family and friends in Ruston. The weather was absolutely perfect! I had lots of great food and great time with people I love dearly. It was such a great weekend! And to make things even better, dad and I scrambled in golf Saturday against my brother and a friend of his. And I am more than happy to report that dad and I won!!!! Oh yes, take that brother! And I sank the game winning putt!!!! Victory dance!!
