This morning we had a chance to go out to the Assemblies of God youth camp in this area and speak about missions. This morning was their break out session at camp about global missions. Since Ron was the speaker for it, I got to go along and share my story. It was really an awesome opportunity. It was really cool to stand back and see these young folks that will be our future leaders, Chi Alpha students, missionaries, parents, teachers, and so on. It was just a cool experience and I was completely blessed to get to share.
Tomorrow night I get to speak at the youth group at Ron's church. I had no idea when I headed this way, that I would be picking up speaking gigs along the way, but it's cool. I'll have to sit and gather my thoughts tonight, but I'm excited. I think it will be fun!
Today we also took the long way back to Ron's (the youth camp is actually held in West Virginia). We had some great conversations along the drive (it was an 1.5 there and back) and then stopped by Radford campus before heading home. Radford is just down the road from Ron's and it was cool to get to see campus again. My freshman and sophomore years in college, LA Tech Chi Alpha took spring outreach trips to Radford to help with the Chi Alpha that was starting up there.

Our first trip up, the girls stayed at the Chi Alpha house in the tiny little loft room they had. It was cool to stop by today and see the large house they have now. It's such an indication of how the ministry has grown and changed over the years. It was really cool. I think this evening or sometime tomorrow, I may try to squeeze in a run on campus at Radford or maybe even Virginia Tech. Until then ......
