Odd but True

So random thought even though I just posted. This summer is my first full summer to experience in three years. It's true. my last full summer was the American summer of 2006. When I moved to South Africa in January 2007, it was already halfway through their summer. Then for the American summer of 2007, I spent those entire months in South Africa. As the South African summer got going in December of 2007, I came back to the States for time with my family, so I missed five weeks of that South African summer. Then for the American summer o 2008, I was in South Africa for the entire time. And again when South Africa's summer started up in December of 2008, I moved back to the States. So it is odd, but the summer of 2009 is my first full summer in three years. And in all honesty, I'm not enjoying it. The heat is sweltering and it's only June. Boo on summer time!! I'm glad I've dodged it for a few years. But I guess now it's back to normal life for a while. Until then ......
