Rent a Kid

So today I am having lunch with a few old friends from college. A couple of them I see all the time, but the third lives in Dallas now. Since she is coming into town, we're all going to eat lunch.

I feel like I need to rent a kid in order to go to lunch with my friends though. The friend from Dallas has one kid, and the other two friends have two and three kids. That's six kids between the three of them. Now I just need to find me a kid so I can fit in for lunch.

I guess really it's like getting to be an aunt though. You get to hang out with and play with the kids and then send them home with their parents. A couple of the kids actually call me aunt which is really fun. I'm aunt Ran or aunt Mir.

In other news my lifegroup cleaned tables and such in the cafeteria on campus last night. There were only four of us and we stayed for about an hour. It was actually pretty fun. One of the girls thought it could be a cool service project on campus and so we did it. It was funny to see people we knew and they kept asking when we started working there. Or students who didn't know us would ask what we did to have to clean tables in the cafeteria. It really was a great way to serve and give something back to the campus. I love getting to see our lifegroup involved and giving back!!
