My Life

So I've been back in the States for a week now and keep getting the questions "How long are you in for?" and "So what are you doing now?" I then realized that a few people know what's going on and I just assume that the rest of the world does too. So here's the down-low:

I have now moved back to the States and am living in Ruston. This past week I joined the staff of Chi Alpha at Louisiana Tech University working under the leadership of Greg Pampell. Tech is where I got my degree and got involved in Chi Alpha. I'll be working in the women's side of the ministry and ten just wherever else needs help. As of now I will be in Ruston until at least July and then I plan to do a Chi Alpha internship somewhere. I may stay in Louisiana but then I am also looking at Texas and Washington State. So we'll see. I tossed out the idea of Auburn but since my dad is a die hard University of Alabama fan I thought the family may disown me if I went that route.

For this period I'll also be picking up a couple of hours a week at Bath and Body Works in Ruston. I worked there for over a year before I moved to South Africa and so it will be nice to join back in with that team too. Plus the extra income will come in super handy while I am support raising for Chi Alpha.

So yeah. That's life in a nutshell at the moment. I'm still in transition mode and fighting many thoughts and emotions, but I'm still determined to make it. I was telling a friend today that some moments the only thing that gets me through this is cling to the idea that I know this is where God ants me right now. As long as I know that, then I'm okay.

Until then ......
