Fogged glass windows...

My office door is a door of windows. This usually is a really fun thing. However there are definitely times that I wish those windows were the high-tech kind that you push the button and they become fogged windows you can't see through. This morning as I did my happy dance and cried, I wished I had fogged glass windows. (this was just the fun introduction to my real post)

The reason for my happy dance and tears of joy this morning is that I found an academic advisor for Chi Alpha at SLCC. SLCC (South Louisiana Community College) is a community college here in Lafayette where I am starting a Chi Alpha this year. So far we have not been able to do much because we are not an on-campus organization. And they won't let me be an on-campus organization until I can find a faculty member to be our advisor. This has been frustrating and limiting what we can do.

However, do your happy dance with me, because this morning we found our academic advisor!! We had a new girl come to Bible study this week and we were talking about the need for an advisor. She said she knew some faculty and would talk to them. This morning I got a text saying she had talked to one and they agreed to be our advisor. I followed up with a phone call and great discussion with our new advisor!!! Tuesday I will go and submit all of our paperwork and hopefully we'll be on campus by the end of the semester!!!! Let the happy dance and tears of joy commence!!!!
