Progressively getting lighter.....

When I was a small child, my hair was very light. Pretty much it was blonde and then has progressed over the years in to a medium to dark brown. This is pretty much how my dad's entire family is. And to this day I still have a blonde streak or two in my hair.

Actually right now there is way more than a streak or two, it's pretty much solid blonde. Since high school, every few years or so, I get the urge to highlight and go blonde for the most part. This week saw the lightest my hair has ever been.

About a month a go I got it highlighted and cut. It had a lot of blonde, but was still dark around my face and I wanted it a bit lighter. So this week I made an appointment to add some more highlights. I'm still getting used to it and think I will like it. It's just very drastic compared to my natural color and is a bit more than what I originally wanted. Oh well.... guess we'll call it my summer hair style!
