The rest of my South Africa team made it back to the States today. Among the team were three international students, one of which needed visa paper work to come to South Africa before he left. His student visa expired while we were out of the country and so he needed his new paper work to get back in. Even though this paperwork never came, our student made it back into the US without any problems. Some may say it just happened, however I see the Hand of God in it and through out our entire trip.
For fifteen days, fifteen Americans traveled across three continents. We worked on very limited technology (not because South Africa doesn't have it, but just because of funds and time and such and it being a missions trip) and fourteen of the fifteen people were first time visitors to South Africa. As I look at our two weeks and the obstacles we overcame and the many things we made it through, I praise God for how He cares, provides, and takes care of His children. Truly I see this trip as a miracle and working of the Hand of God.
I never ceased to be floored by how God doesn't need us but yet He so badly wants us and wants to use us. As I look at our trip I see that God didn't need us, but that He wanted to use us. And through that we got to see God move in Mighty ways and He watched over and took care of us the entire time.
Praise God for all that He is and all that He does for us. I serve a mighty, passionate, and caring God!!!
Until then......
