Quick Update

Figured I should update real quick, so I'm actually copying and pasting an update email I sent a bit ago. Enjoy:

Just updating. We're still doing great! We spent two days out in the middle of nowhere on an AGWM children's ministry base. It was amazing! We got to go into some townships and schools and be a part of some children's ministries. It was a great opportunity to build relationship with those guys. The AGWM missionaries are actually on furlow now. It's Ed and Sonja Corbin who were at district council and Sully met and hooked us up with the few days out there. The group loved it and it really was amazing. Middle of nowhere as in miles and miles of one lane dirt road to get to the base. I'm really glad the team got to experience something like that.

Yesterday was our day off so we went to the wildlife reserve. We got to play with baby lion cubs and pet a cheetah. Half the team went rock repelling into a cave while the other half rode horses through the park and looked for wild animals. So much fun and a great day!

Today we were back on campus and had one student whom we met earlier this week give his life to Christ!!!!! Seriously! We did some praying on campus, hung out in the quad and played games and sang worship songs, etc. Then tonight we did dinner and went to see a South African comedy in the theatres with some of the students. It was a lot of fun.

Tomorrow we're on campus again and have a Chi Alpha meeting tomorrow night. Christine is preaching! And I get to grab lunch with one of the alumni from Chi Alpha where I was for two years. I'm excited about that too!
