Chunkin' the Deuce

Today I am working just a little more than a half day. I'm headed to Mississippi this afternoon to spend the weekend with my family and speak at a funeral. I'll return home Sunday night.

Monday we have our last learning party of the internship! Can you say EXCITED?? I finished my last two assignments for the internship yesterday. Monday is more or less a formality and then we are done!

Tuesday is intern day in New Orleans. We're all loading into a van and heading to New Orleans for the day. There promises to be lots of fun and food, which is always a great combination!

And Wednesday is the big day.... it's off to Africa!! And I cannot wait!!!! The stress and anxiety of finishing up the school year, a funeral, ending an internship, and taking 15 people overseas has been getting to me this week. (Praise God that I don't have to be concerned with moving during this time too!) I must admit my nerves have not been the best. Anxiety has been high and so of course that affects everything else. However I still have peace in God and am resting on Him to pull me through it all!

After my return from South Africa, I'll have one night in Lafayette before I fly off to Missouri for my oldest brother's wedding. I'll be out for four days for that and then finally I'm home! (For at lest five days... I may be scheduled to work a youth camp as a Chi Alpha rep the following week)

Honestly I love life like this. It's insane to think about being out of the office for an entire four weeks due to back to back to back to back trips, but I love it! I love that there is so much to do and so many places to travel and be when it comes to Chi Alpha. It's fabulous!

Until then......
