The wedding was in Gulf Shores, AL and absolutely gorgeous! The ceremony took place on a balcony overlooking the pool and beach and the weather could not have been more perfect!
Let's just say that the ceremony was fun and very much a part of how fun my brother is. It was special to have me and my two brothers standing up there together (my other brother was the best man). Such a great weekend with me and the family! And yay for my first sister!!!
This week also saw the entrance of two new people into the world! My best friend had twins yesterday! Mom and babies are doing super well. Kaleb was 6lbs 10oz and Eli was 7lbs 1oz, both coming in at 19.5 inches long. They were some big boys! I couldn't be happier for their rapidly growing family, so happy that it brought tears of joy to my eyes yesterday!
This week is also my birthday week!! Yay!!!! I'll be 26 on this Friday. Last night some of my housemates and I went out to dinner to celebrate. Tuesday was my only free night until next week, so we celebrated early. Chili's is my favorite restaurant and dinner was great and with great company!!
Oh.. and I got new glasses this week! My old ones were big thick dark trendy frames. The new ones are very different. I actually just had a student tell me that I was not "Miranda" without my other glasses! (I included a pic with the old glasses too....the thin silver frames are my new ones!)
