Antlers

Honestly I have done pretty much nothing this morning. I did spend about 30 minutes helping to reset the chapel for our Chi Alpha meetings tonight, but otherwise I've just been goofing off and drinking coffee. I'm slacking on the discipline this morning.

In my goofing off I have been checking weather and airline baggage restrictions for my trip to Indiana in two weeks. One of my best friends, Katie, is getting married in two weeks and so this week I've been getting all the details of the trip together. In checking the baggage allowance for my airline, I was skimming through the list of specialty items that you can check. The first item on the list: antlers. Yes, I typed and you read that correctly. They actually listed antlers as a specialty item to be checked on a plane. Seriously.

The rest of the list was about sports equipments and things such as that. I mean listing a javelin can seem a bit odd, but it makes way more sense than antlers. That's just odd.

And while I'm on the topic of airline baggage allowance, I think it's crazy that they now charge you to check a bag. Honestly I think it's pretty absurd. But maybe that's just me. Maybe the majority of people who fly don't go for more than a day or two.... Yeah right!
