Well worth it

I don't usually do two post in one day, but I just saw a fabulous movie and wanted to blog about it. I've been waiting for probably two months to see "Julie & Julia." It came out last weekend, but we were at a leadership retreat and so I didn't get to go. And honestly since moving and not watching tv (because I don't have a tv and really don't want one), I had kinda forgotten about when the movie came out.



The other day though a friend of mine made a comment about wanting to see it, so I looked up times for my local theater and went as soon as I got out of the office this afternoon. So at 4:00 I headed to catch myself an afternoon matinee by myself. Yes I go to the movies by myself and I love it.

Anyway. I absolutely loved the movie!!!! I thought it was fabulous. It was cute. It was funny. It was clean. I laughed. I cried a bit. And I think I smiled the entire time. It's a great story about life, finding passion in life, and just living life. It even has some cute love stories thrown in there for the romantic bunch of us. But it was so good!

Usually when I build up to a movie and then see it, it doesn't measure up. This however went beyond my expectations. Usually a movie puts all the funny parts and zingers in the previews, this one however did not. Yes the previews make it look great, but they don't use all the good lines in the previews.

This may have been the best movie I have seen in a while and I highly recommend it!!! Until then ......
