Today we have already done two events and I'm about to go pick up pizza for the third event today. We started the day with an organizational fair in the quad from 10:00 - 2:00. Do you know how hot it is in Lafayette, LA from 10:00 - 2:00?? Hot!!! While we were in the quad, the rest of the staff set up for Free Meal With A Message at the Cafe. Some of us took a slight break for about an hour to go to Free Meal. Now I'm killing a bit of time until I head to pick up all the pizzas for our dorm program tonight. We've got 3 bags of ice, 10 2 liters of coke, and 11 large pizzas. We're hoping for a crowd in Legacy tonight!!!
In light of all the craziness, here's a text conversation with a friend the other day:
Me: I'm so tired and they won't let me sleep.
My friend: Haha, I'm sorry you're tired. What have they got you into down there?
Me: Chi Alpha at the beginning of a school year. It's insanity.
When I moved into my new room a few weeks ago, there was a mirror in my room. On the mirror there were different quotes that the previous interns had written. The quote that stands out the most to me that I really liked said "Ministry is the hardest thing I have ever loved." That my friends is a true statement.
Until then .....

Love that quote!
Great quote! In no other profession, do we expect SO MUCH for so little. No 8-5 days in your shoes!
