So I went to the movies today with a couple of friends. Of course after the movie we headed to the bathroom for a quick pit stop before we hit the road. Once in the stall I realized I had picked a horrible one. I then had to sit on a broken seat and balance so as not to fall off the broken seat while using one foot to keep the door shut because the lock was broken off.
So here is my question/thought: are public bathrooms made that cheap or do members of the public lack that much consideration? Seriously. How do you really break the toilet seat in a public bathroom? You must have no consideration or respect what so ever for someone else's property.
This is why I threw in the first option as well of cheap made bathrooms. If the toilet seat did in fact break under normal use and the lock fell off just because of too much traffic, then builders should reconsider their materials and quality. I must say though I highly suspect the real reason is the lack of consideration by the public. It just makes me so aggravated that people have such little respect for others and their belongings.
And yes I do know I just posted an entire blog about the respectfulness of the public towards public bathrooms, but I think it's a greta reflection of how a person treats most things in their lives. I could be wrong, but hey it is what I think.
Until then ......

Public bathrooms are definitely a disgrace and I hate them, but I do have a new appreciation for American public bathrooms after having to utilize the nastiest Turkish toilet ever - and I had to pay 30 Euro cents to use it. And it was a Turkish toilet!!! Still can't get over that I had to pay to use it. Hahaha. Anyways, hopefully I remember that when I get back so as to quell my hatred for public bathrooms! Haha.
